Official blazon
Grb Općine Mursko Središće ima slijedeći izgled: na zelenoj podlozi štita nalazi se u gornjem dijelu bijela ili srebrna vodoravna greda, koja simbolizira rijeku Muru. U donjem dijelu štita prikazana je rudarska svijetiljka žute ili zlatne boje, koja simbolizira rudarenje na ovim područjima.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 30, 1996.
The mining equipment shown in the coat of arms is a reminder of extensive coal mining industry that made the city prosperous and is for a long time closed now, and to the oil exploration that is done in the area since the end of 19th century.
