Origin/meaning
The Stag symbolises the speed and vigilance of aircraft operating from the Station with the Mullet indicating US Air Force who used the Station during Second World War. The Water is a pun upon the Second Half of the Word Bassingbourn - a bourn beeing a stream. The Badge was granted in October 1949.
