German In Gold über einem durchbrochenen grünen Achtberg als Schildfuß, rechts eine aus diesem herauswachsende begrannte grüne Ähre mit einem Halm, links ein gestürztes grünes Lindenblatt. Aus diesem erwächst ein roter Adler.

The base shows 8 hills, one for each of the original 8 municipalities in the Amt. The wheat ear symbolises the importance of agriculture for the municipality. The linden leaf is a typical tree for the area. The eagle is the eagle of Brandenburg and is also part of the arms of the city of Biesenthal.
