Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 10, 1979.
The spade is the symbol of Saint Castulus, the former patron saint of the village. It is also speculate dthat the village is named after the saint.
The three bricks refer to the clay found in the municipality and the tile manufature in the village. The clover refers to the agricultural character of the region.
