CARO

Département: Morbihan

Blason de Caro (Morbihan)/Arms (crest) of Caro (Morbihan)
Official blazon
French De gueules au cerf d'argent; au chef d'hermine.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1983.

The deer in the arms is a canting element, for Caroff in the local dialect (cerf in French is deer). The chief shows the ermine field of Bretange (Brittany) in which the village is situated.
