PAIMIO
Region : Varsinais-Suomi
Former province : Länsi-Suomi (until 1997 Turku and Pori)
Official blazon
Punaisessa, kulta-apilasirotteisessa kentässä hopeinen napakaira.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 12, 1953.
The arms show a number of clovers, which symbolise the agricultural character of the municipality. The wood drill is taken from the arms of Erik Puranpoika, who lived in the village in the 15th century.
