LOTZWIL
Canton : Bern
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms are supposedly derived from the arms of a Von Lotzwil family. There is, however, no historical evidence thereof. The arms were adopted in the beginning of the 20th century.
Variations of the arms in the Kaffee Hag albums 1914-1960:

|
|
The arms in the town |
The arms on the town hall |
Literature : Wappenbuch des Kantons Bern, 1981.
