English Blue; within a wreath of laurel and palm conjoined in base gold two crosslets fitchy in saltire white debruaised by a talbot's head erased white ears red.

Motto: Ad omnia paratus.


Origin/meaning

A Spanish Port raided in 1587 and then captured by the English in 1596. The Crosses of Lord Howard are combined with the Talbot of the Earl of Essex. The Badge was approved on 10 August 1945.
