English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 17, 2006.
The original design of the arms dates from 1947. The arms symbolise the main economic activities in the area; a glass and glass-blowing pipes symbolise the glass industry, the sickle and ear agriculture. The glas sindustry was founded in 1836 and for a long time of great importance.
