STEUERBERG
State : Kärnten
District : Feldkirchen
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 8, 1966.
Steuerberg is a Carinthian municipality, but the tinctures of its arms are those of Styria. The medieval lords of Steuerberg were vassals of the Dukes of Styria, not those of the Dukes of Carinthia. The sole charge was taken from the arms of the historic von Steuerberg family.
