(1970) Schild von blau und gold geteilt; in dem kleineren oberen Felde hervorbrechend ein goldener rotbewehrter, von sieben goldenen Schindeln begleiteter Löwe, im unteren ein blaues Stollenmundloch, im offenen Torbogen schwarze Bergmannshämmer.

The arms were granted on June 5, 1939, new arms were granted in 1970 and are identical to the arms of Amt Eiserfeld (see there).

-The gate is the entrance to an iron mine (the Reinhard Forster Erbstollen mine), the mining of iron has been of great importance to the area for many centuries. The arrow in the chief of the old arms is the symbol for iron.
-The lion in the upper part of the new arms is the lion of [[Nassau]], as the area belonged to the County Nassau-Siegen.
