Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular albastru, cu marginile rotunjite, despicat și tăiat de un brâu undat. În partea superioară, în dreapta, se află un mănunchi de spice de grâu de aur, iar în stânga se află o inflorescență de floarea-soarelui, de aur. În vârful scutului se află o carte deschisă cu efigia unui personaj masculin, ce poartă plete pe umeri, barbă și mustață, totul de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 6, 2012.
The bunch of wheat ears and sunflower signify the basic occupation of the inhabitants, agriculture.
The book symbolizes the means of penetrating the mysteries of knowledge, and the effigy of the male character represents the portrait of the Transylvanian scholar Gheorghe Lazăr, who gives the name of the locality.
The wavy bar symbolizes Lake Iezer.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
