Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular albastru cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de o fascie undată de argint, încărcată cu un pește albastru, înotând spre dreapta. În câmpul superior se află un coș cu legume, conținând 3 roșii, 2 ardei grași, 2 gogoșari și două vinete, totul de aur. În câmpul inferior se află un mănunchi compus dintr-un spic de grâu, o floarea-soarelui și un știulete de porumb, încrucișate și legate cu o fundă în partea de jos, totul de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 10, 2015.
The wavy bar represents the Jirlău lake, declared a natural monument, and the fish symbolizes the fish farming of the area.
The bundle and the basket represent the basic occupations of the inhabitants, agriculture and vegetable growing.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
