POJEJENA

Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu undat, albastru, încărcat cu trei pești cu capul spre dreapta, de argint, dispuși doi la unu. În partea superioară, în câmp roșu, se află un vas de ceramică, de aur. În partea inferioară se află un câmp zidit, de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 5, 2005.
The blue wavy bar means that the town is located in an area on the banks of the Danube River.
The three fish (pikeperch) represent the fish wealth of the area and one of the main occupations of the inhabitants.
The silver wall reminds of the historical vestiges that attest to the existence of the settlement since the Roman Empire.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
