PADINA (BUZĂU)
District/county (județ) : Buzău
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 6, 2003.
The Curigan Cross, a well-known historical monument in the county, dominates Padina commune and is emblematic for the whole area. Bread and sunflower are images of the wealth of the commune, as well as of the main occupation of its inhabitants, agriculture.
The mural crown, with a single crenellated tower, symbolizes that the locality is common.
