Official blazon
- (ro) un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat. În partea superioară, în câmp roșu, se află o corabie neagră plutind pe valuri argintii cu trei catarge și pânze de argint; fiecare catarg se termină cu câte un fanion de argint. În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află un pod de argint cu patru piloni, iar deasupra acestuia este plasată o stea de aur în cinci colțuri. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu trei turnuri crenelate.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 9, 2015
The ship 'corabie' is a canting element.
The bridge symbolises the Roman bridge built near the Sucidava fortress.
The gold star is reminiscent of the spirit of the great merchants of the early twentieth century.
The mural crown with three towers means that the town has the status of a city.
