Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 28, 2000.
The cross refers to St. Andrew, a popular saint in the parish. The swallows refer to the emigration from the parish, which has caused larges socio-economic problems. The millstone refers to the historical mills, which were of great importance for the local economy.
