The red lion is taken from the arms of the former [[Katzenelnbogen]] county, to which the village historically belonged. The house is the former town hall and now used as a fire brigade station. It is a typical landmark of the village. The lower part shows a leaf and a wavy bar, sor the forests and fields in the municipality.
