Unter silbernem Schildhaupt, darin ein schwarzer Mauerbalken belegt mit drei roten Enten, in Rot ein goldener Raerener Krug.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 29, 1991.

Raeren was famous for its pottery and has a pottery museum and archive, hence the mug in the lower part of the shield. The merlets are derived from the arms of the Van Eynatten family (see also Bergen and Margraten in the Netherlands.
