Arms : Per pale sable and argent, a chevron counterchanged between in chief an opium poppy flower and a gentian flower, both slipped, proper, and in base a Roman lamp Or, inflamed also proper.
Crest: On a wreath of the colours, An owl proper supporting with the dexter claw a gavel upright Or entwined with a serpent also proper.
Supporters: On the dexter side a unicorn Or, armed, crined and unguled argent, and on the sinister side a lynx proper, spotted azure, gules, vert, Or and argent, and ducally gorged and chained of the last.
Motto: Cum scientia caritas.
