(de) In schräglinks geteiltem Schild vorne rot-silbern geschacht, hinten ein goldener Dreiberg in Grün.

The arms were granted on June 27, 1963.

The chequered field refers to the County Sponheim, to which the area historically belonged. The lower half is canting, a golden mountain (berg).
