Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on ??-??-1974

The arms show the lion of the Pfalz, to which the village historically belonged. The lion holds a grape for the importance of viticulture, and a small shield with the local village sign. This symbol was seen on the seal of the village from 1653.
