(de) Geteilt von Silber und Schwarz, oben ein durchgehendes schwarzes Balkenkreuz, unten rechts ein an Rücken und Kanten silbern, an den Ecken golden gefasstes Buch mit goldenem Kreuz auf rotem Buchdeckel, goldenem Schnitt und roten Rückenstreifen, links eine silberne Feder.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1988.
The arms show the cross of the State of Köln, to which the area historically belonged, and a book and feather for St. Mark, the local patron saint.
