Drei beblätterte goldene Safranblüten im blauen Schild mit goldenem Bord, darin sieben rechts laufende rote Ameisen.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 8, 1998.
The main charge are three saffron plants. In times past, saffron was grown in Eastern Styria. The plant was (and is) used as a condiment and as a dye. The ants are a reference to local folklore.
