LANGENLEUBA-NIEDERHAIN

State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Altenburger Land
Verwaltungsgemeinschaft : Wieratal
Additions: 1965 Neuenmörbitz (1950 Schömbach); 1973 Lohma (1923 Zschernichen; 1950 Boderitz, Buscha)

Wappen von Langenleuba-Niederhain

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 15, 1996.

The upper half shows three pine trees that refer to the Leinawald forest in the municipality. In the decades before the arms were granted the municipality also used the three trees in its seal. The third quarter shows seven bends, one for each of the villages in the municipality. The rose is taken from the arms of the Lords von Rüdigsdorf, who had several possessions in the municipality.

Wappen von Langenleuba-Niederhain

The seal from around 1900.
