LENGELSHEIM

Département : Moselle

Blason de Lengelsheim

Official blason

De gueules au gril d'or, la poignée en bas; à la bordure du même.

Origin/meaning

The grill is the symbol of St. Lawrence, the local patron saint. The bordure is taken from the arms of the Ciunts of Bitche, to which the area partially belonged.
