Ein aufgerichteter, nach links schauender, goldener, blaugekrönter Löwe auf rotem Grund.
Origin/meaning
The oldest seal of the town dates from around 1400 and already shows the lion of the Lords of Homburg. The town belonged to the Lords of Homburg from 1226-1409. All later seals have shown the same lion.
