Escudo de vermelho, torre de prata, acompanhada de duas flores-de-lis de ouro. Coroa mural de cinco torres de prata. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: " CIDADE DE VILA FRANCA DE XIRA ", de negro.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 27, 2001.
Unfortunately I have no background information on these arms. Any information is welcome !
The previous arms were granted on December 13, 1950 and only differ in the crown and the title of the city.
