History: Raised in 1759 as 15th Light Dragoons, or Eliott's Light Horse become in 1807 15th (King's) Hussars. In 1901 15th The King's Hussars. In 1922 amalgamated with 19th (Queen Alexandra's Own Royal) Hussars, British Army to form 15th/19th Hussars.
