SUPREME HEADQUARTERS ALLIED EXPEDITIONARY FORCE (SHAEF)
History: SHAEF was the Staff that commanded the Allied Forces in North Western Europe 1943-1946.

Origin/meaning
The flaming Sword on a Black field symbolises the Liberation from Nazi Opression. It was designed by a Female British Corporal and approved by the Commander of SHAEF General Dwigth D. Eisenhower.
