- (de) Geviert; 1. Feld: in Rot ein silberner Bischofsstab gekreuzt mit einem silbernen Schwert; 2. Feld: in Silber ein grüner Apfel; 3. Feld: halb gespalten und geteilt von Silber, Rot und Blau; 4. Feld: gespalten von Gold und Rot: vom eine schwarze Schafschere und hinten einen silbernen Sparren.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 2, 1995.
The upper half of the arms refers to Effelder, the lower half to Rauenstein.
