German heraldry:

Selected collector's items from Germany:

SULZSCHNEID

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Marktoberdorf
Incorporated into : 1972 Marktoberdorf

Wappen von Sulzschneid

Official blazon

  • (de)

Origin/meaning

The municipality never had arms. The above arms were adopted as village arms in 2019.

The bull is taken from the arms of the Lords of Hohenegg, to which the village historically belonged. The red pale with the diamonds refer to the fact that the area was a exclusive hunting area for the Bishops of Augsburg.
