VERBANDSGEMEINDE BAD HÖNNINGEN
State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Neuwied
German | Innerhalb eines von Schwarz, Rot und Gold dreifach geständerten Bordes gespalten und vorn geteilt; vorn oben in Silber zwei rote Balken, unten in Rot drei 2:1 schräggstellte silberne Hämmer; hinten in Silber ein durchgehendes rotes Balkenkreuz.
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on April 11, 1967. The arms show the arms of the three terrotories to which the area historically belonged: the bars for the County of Isenburg-Arenfels, the hammers for the County Hammerstein and the cross for the State of Trier. The bordure shows the colours of Germany.
