PESTIȘU MIC

District/county (județ) : Hunedoara

Stema Pestișu Mic

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 20, 2014.

The chief symbolises the ornaments specific to the popular dress characteristic of the region, and their number symbolizes the three villages that are part of the commune.

The chevron symbolizes the four caves located on the territory of the locality, and the beech represents the forest richness of the area.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
