I CORPS, BRITISH ARMY
History: A I Corps was briefly active during the Waterloo Campaign in 1815. It Was then Active during the World Wars, deactivated in 1947. Reactivated in 1951 to command the main British Elements in Germany and disbanded in 1992 following the end of the Cold War.
