Origin/meaning

The arms were grantd on October 17, 1935.

The arms show the bar taken from the arms of the Counts of the Mark, who ruled the area in the medieval times. The rose in the upper half is taken from the seal of the church of Wiblingwerde. The wave in the lower half symbolises the Lenne river.
