Origin/meaning
The arms were proposed in 1994, and I have no idea whether the arms are actually adopted by the municipality.
The arms combine symbols derived from the arms of the former ruling institutions in the village; the college of St. Peter in Lille and the Bishops of Arras. The college had many possessions in Bbas-Arleux (lower Arleux), and thus the keys of St. Peter are placed in the base of the shield. As the possessions of the bishops were larger, the shield is not divided equally. The upper part shows the two croziers and nine rats taken from the arms of the diocese of Arras.
