The village of Pattern was destroyed due to Lignite mining. The village was relocated and named Neu Pattern.
The village uses the following arms:
German | Ein geteiltes Schild, oben in Blau einen auf die Spitze gestellten sechsstrahligen silbernen Stern, unten in Silber eine blaue Hellebarde.
