Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 2006.

The arms show in chief two wings as a symbol for the local airfield. The nail is taken from the arms of the Royal Abbey of Saint-Denis, to which the area historically belonged. The wavy bar refers to the Oise river.

The lower half symbolises the agricultural character of the municipality as well as the Commandery of the Knights Templar, to which part of the municipality belonged.
