Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on September 10, 1974.
The arms are based on the old arms of Gras-Ellenbach, in which the lion of Hessen is replaced by the lion of the Pfalz, which was taken from the arms of Hammelbach. The colours of the base were changed from blue to red, the colours of the stripes (bars) of the lion of Hessen. The other three municipalities did not have own arms.
