AMELÉCOURT

Département : Moselle

Blason de Amelécourt/Arms (crest) of Amelécourt
Official blazon
French D'argent à l'écusson de gueules; chapé d'azur.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The red shield is taken from the Provost of Amance, to which the village historically belonged. The blue and white represent St. Martin of Tours, the local patron saint, who cut his cloak for a beggar.
