Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 7, 1957 and again on May 9, 1966.
The church is derived from the arms of the Knihjts Von Diepertskirchen, who had their estate in Lippertskirchen in the municipality from the 11th until the end of the 15th century. The arms are based on an image on a grave monument from 1391.
The wavy bar is a canting element (Bach=brook, stream).
