Origin/meaning
The arms were never officially granted, but have been used since the late 1950s.
The oldest known seal of the village dates from the first half of the 19th century and shows a divides shield, with the arms of Baden and a bunch of grapes. A later seal from around 1880 shows a canting bush between wavy bends. The species of plant is not recognisable. Based on this seal the State Archives proposed in 1907 the municipality to use a coat of arms with a small bush on a hill. The municipality agreed, but continued the old arms until the late 1950s, when the council adopted the above arms. Fruit cultivation is an important activity in the municipality and the strawberries symbolise this.
