Additions : 1971 Kopscheid, Stalbach

Wappen von Lichtenborn (Eifel)/Arms (crest) of Lichtenborn (Eifel)
Official blazon
German

In Silber drei schwarze verschlungene Bänder (1:2) um eine rote Deichsel.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 17, 2005.

The division of the shield refers to the main roads in the municipality to the Prüm valley, Belgium and Luxembourg. The red and silver colours refer to the Lords of Vianden, to which the village belonged in medieval times.

The three other symbols are taken from road crosses in the municipality and refer to the three former municipalities that merged in 1971.
