English Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: A circular insignia 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall, consisting of an inner dark blue disc on which is the white head of a bobcat affronté with red mouth and dark blue details; around the disc a white band edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) dark blue border, inscribed “BREATHITT” at the top and “HIGH SCHOOL” on the bottom in dark blue letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.

Origin/meaning

The shoulder sleeve insignia originally approved 13 February 1976 was amended 27 July 1991 to add subdued colors and metric measurements.
