THE KING'S REGIMENT, BRITISH ARMY
History: Formed in 1958 by the amalgamation of The King's Regiment (Liverpool), British Army and The Manchester Regiment, British Army as the King's Regiment (Manchester and Liverpool). In 1968 redesignated The King's Regiment. In 2005 by the amalgamated with The King's Own Royal Border Regiment, British Army and The Queen's Lancashire Regiment, British Army to form The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment (King's, Lancashire and Border), British Army.
