History:Formed at Kabrit, Egypt in January 1942.

Motto: One time one purpose
Origin/meaning
The Bat symbolises the role of the Unit in undertaking solitary flights at night to investigate Enemy Radars. The Meteor signifies operations in the Skies. The badge was granted in March 1946.
