German In einem durch eine flache, gestürzte Spitze blau-silbern geteilten Schild auf einer silbern gefugten roten Mauer ein rot-bewehrter, widersehender flugbereiter Storch in verwechselten Farben.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 17, 1999.

The stork and wall are taken from the arms of Gramzow. The stork has spread wings with 14 feathers, one for each of the municipalities in the Amt in 1999. Due to mergers this has been reduced to 5.
