Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 2004.

The mitre and crosiers are taken from the arms of the city of Kołobrzeg and refer to the fact that the area historically was a possesion of the Bishops of Kammin. The sun and waves indicate that the area is a seaside resort.
