Escudo cortado: Primero, en campo de gules, un castillo de oro, mazonado de sable y aclarado de azur. Segundo, en campo de sínople un pergamino de plata, con la cifra 1792 en sable. Al timbre corona real de España.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 22, 2001.
The castle in the upper half refers both to Castille as well as to the former castle (now ruins) in the village. The lower half shows a green field for agriculture and a scroll with the date 1792. On May 30, 1792 the village received a n honour of Good Government from the King.
